In this paper, we described our interactive hybrid 2D and 3D visual analytics application that allows the user to analyze and visualize data from our Monte Carlo simulation. Our data centric design allows the user to visualize the 2D and 3D data of the data set on both the LHRD and Microsoft HoloLens Mixed Reality system. This gives the user the capability to visualize 2D data on a 2D LHRD platform and 3D data using 3D mixed reality technology. The exploration, modeling and analysis of complex heterogeneous data require a vastly different class of tools capable of supporting data-centric, user-centric, visualization algorithm and systems agnostic visual analytics.
