Licor 43 Sour

Our Licor Sour is a variant of the traditional sour cocktail family. Known for the whisky sour, amaretto sour, or pisco sour (the national drink of Peru).

Licor 43 is a sweet Spanish liqueur comprised of 43 ingredients. It uses aromatic plants, citrus fruits, and, of course, vanilla, among others. The drink claims its origins from a Roman drink recorded in writings discovered in Carthago Nova (the New Carthage), a vital port city in present-day Spain.

Our Licor Sour is a sublime balance of sweetness, fresh acidity, and a deliciously soft texture. Not bad for an ancient recipe.

Flower Sour

As previously stated, ‘Sour’ cocktails are one of the oldest cocktail families in existence. Consisting of minimal lemon juice and sugar syrup. There are endless possibilities for variations that highlight its versatile character. Adding egg whites (or our vegan substitute) gives the cocktail its beautiful froth and full, creamy body.

Our Flower Sour combines red wine, (yup) a floral elderflower liqueur. The combination is unexpected but absolutely delicious!

 

Ingredients:

Licor 43 Sour
Licor 43
Lemon juice
Foamee
Angostura bitters

Garnish: Orange peel

&

Flower Sour
St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
Red wine
Spring bay Sicilian Lemon
Sugar syrup
Foamee

Garnish: Dried orange slice

Method:

Licor 43 Sour – Shake n Strain + Flower Sour – Shake hard w ice. Shake hard again w/o ice, serve ice cold
